Day 3 Disney Recap.

Day 3.

We started Day 3 bright and early and headed to Epcot. We have never toured the countries before, so we designated a full day to try and see everything. After this trip, Epcot has definitely become our favorite park, after Magic Kingdom of course!

Before going, I had read about crazy lines in Norway for Frozen's Anna and Elsa. Braylen is really into Frozen, we listen to the soundtrack every morning before school and he has seen it a few times in theaters so meeting them was something we really wanted to do. Right when we got to Epcot we ran straight to Norway to try to get an early spot, but the line was already 3+ hours long! We decided we would try to make some time to see them later in the week.

So we left the line, and headed back to the front of the park, and start our day.

We rode The Seas with Nemo & Friends first, then met some characters.

The we stopped for some lunch in Mexico!
(which was totally gross, don't waste your quick service meal here)

After lunch, we began our tour of the countries!

We met another one of Braylen's favorites, Mulan in China!

Hanging out in Germany!

In Japan!

We met Aladdin & Jasmine in Morocco

And Aurora and Belle in France

Here are some other misc. pictures from Epcot.

Because Braylen is such a Neverland nut, we booked Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage. The Fireworks Voyage starts at the Contemporary Resort, where you meet Captain Hook and Mr. Smee and eat some delicious snacks. Afterwards, you take a boat ride on the Seven Seas  to view Wishes. We left Epcot and headed straight for the Contemporary Resort for the cruise.

After meeting Hook and Smee, it was time to board our boat!

Sorry for the crappy resolution, these were taken with my cell phone.

When we docked, there was a special visitor waiting.

Peter & Braylen crowing.

And our host Patch, came out for a picture too!

After we got back to shore, we headed back to the Magic Kingdom and rode Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin for what felt like 300 times.

That's all for Day 3, thank you for reading! Hopefully Day 4 will be up tomorrow!

Braylen's 4th Birthday Party

Hi!

I've been slacking, I really wanted to try and finish my Disney recaps before Braylen's birthday party, but that just didn't happen. I'm going to try my very hardest to get the rest of Disney blogged this week.

With Braylen's birthday being at the end of February, I always look for indoor venues. I really really hate places like Chuck E. Cheese & Putt-Putt where you have to share the facility with a million other kids. (No offense to people who have birthdays there) I found Paradise Pond through Mamapedia when I was trying to plan Braylen's 3rd birthday, but they were booked when I asked in December. For his 4th birthday, I wasted NO time, I booked in August.

Here is his invite, isn't it precious? Braylen is all about the Avenger's, but he hasn't watched the adult films just yet. He sticks to the cartoons, so I wanted to make sure I used the character's he would recognize. I actually found this invite using Google, and followed the watermark to: sugartotdesigns.blogspot.com.

Of course, I turned to Pinterest for help with ideas. I woke up at 7:00 on the day of  the party to make the fruit tray, and I thought it turned out so cute. I used fresh strawberries, American cheese, blue berries and raspberries. I also made the city backdrop, using a poster board and construction paper.

My Meme has the cutest punch jar, and she lets me use it a lot. Thanks Meme! This year, we had "Hulk Punch".

We had two party hosts that were great. Right when I walked in, they took everything from my hands and basically told me to go enjoy the party. It was awesome!

We used Lisa's Creative Cakes to make Braylen's birthday cake. Lisa also made our wedding cakes, she is SO affordable and does outstanding work, you can email her at azlecakelady@hotmail.com. Here are some pictures of the cake, which turned out totally adorable.

Here is a group shot of all of the kiddos that came.

For party favors, I bought Avenger masks from Wal-Mart, and gave out Avenger cups stuffed with candy.

Here is Mr. Birthday Boy himself!

Here are some pictures from the rest of the party.

It was a great birthday party, and I can't believe I am a mommy to a FOUR year old! Thanks for reading. :)
